Advantech Wireless Releases New Extreme Temperature Resistant SSPAs/BUCs

[Via Satellite 05-13-2014] Advantech Wireless released a new 2300 G series of 60W to 125W Ku-band Gallium Nitride (GaN) Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs)/Block Upconverters (BUCs). This new series is designed for extreme temperature ranges, from negative 67 degrees to 158 degrees Fahrenheit. The devices are built in a compact weatherproof cooling enclosure.
“Our customers can now address new markets which will use satellite communication on board of aircrafts or other similar challenging environmental applications,” said Cristi Damian, VP of business development at Advantech Wireless.
