Inmarsat Government Formalizes VAR Agreement for Global Xpress

      [Via Satellite 01-23-2014] Inmarsat Government has finalized its agreement to be a Value Added Reseller (VAR) for Inmarsat Global Xpress. As a cleared company under a proxy agreement with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), Inmarsat Government will provide assured access supported by a team of U.S. security-cleared professionals.

      “The Global Xpress system will represent a fundamental shift in the kinds of affordable, reconfigurable services and secure end-to-end wideband connectivity solutions we will deliver globally,” said Susan Miller, Inmarsat Government’s president and CEO.

      Inmarsat Government is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inmarsat created to manage and grow Inmarsat’s retail U.S. government business by delivering communication solutions and managed network services worldwide.
