DESCRIPTION:LEO KINETIC SPACE SAFETY WORKSHOP \nThe accelerating pace of commercial space activity and the increasing frequency of debris generating events have led to an unprecedented growth of the population of objects in low Earth orbit (LEO). Industry\, governments and others are concerned for the safety of operational satellites and the stability of the space environment. Space safety and sustainability have galvanized stakeholder communities\, but specific\, meaningful solutions remain largely elusive. \nThe LEO Kinetic Space Safety Workshop aims to provide specific solutions and pragmatic actions to enhance LEO collisional space safety. The workshop will bring together international experts\, space practitioners and others to debate specific solutions over the course of two days. Keynote speakers will detail the current state-of-the-art in spacecraft impact tolerance\, collision avoidance\, debris prevention and debris remediation.
