CET. \nThis webinar will present how EU SST is building the future of Space Surveillance and Tracking in the EU through architecture studies\, capability development activities and R&D activities. Studies to enhance the EU SST functions (sensor\, processing and service provision) will be presented\, and SST experts will be ready to answer questions from the participants. The webinar will also include the special participation of the European Commission and presentations by space industry partners (Airbus Defence and Space\, Fraunhofer FHR\, GMV\, Indra\, OHB\, SAFRAN and Share My Space).

DESCRIPTION:The Autumn Conference is an annual European Space Policy Institute (ESPI) event where high-level stakeholders come together to discuss outstanding issues at stake for the space sector. For this 15th edition\, the conference will adopt a hybrid format. Guest-speakers will gather at ESPI premises in Vienna\, Austria and the conference will be broadcasted online with live interaction with the audience. \nESPI Autumn Conference 2021 will address the topic of “European space solutions for European ambitions: Why does Europe need European satellites?” High-level officials will come together to discuss the future of European strategic autonomy in space in the context of key challenges for the future of Europe. \nThe Autumn Conference will span across 3 days (5-7 October 2021)\, with one panel each day in the afternoon. It will be organised in three sessions: \n1. Space for Green Deal\, Green Deal in space \n2. Which European space infrastructure for the new digital age \n3. Which space industrial strategy to face new global challenges \nThe audience will be able to ask questions to the speakers through the online conference software. Participants to the Autumn Conference will include stakeholders from the public and private space sectors\, as well as actors from non-space domains to bring fresh perspectives on how space can further contribute to rising challenges for Europe.
