In Partnership With

Next week we hold a huge webinar looking at Iranian cyber attacks of space assets, which has been a growing topic of interest in recent months. Speaking on the webinar will be Norm Laudermilch, CISO of Vantor and Clémence Poirier, senior cyber defense researcher with the Cyber Defense Project, Center for Security Studies (CSS). Register for the webinar here.

Poirier has also written our lead story this month looking at how the space sector has come under fire in recent months as conflicts have raged in the Middle East. What we are seeing now is a new era of conflict and warfare, with drones and space-based capabilities are now front and center in progressive military strategies. As the nature of conflict has changed, it means impacting space assets can have a massive impact on degrading capabilities in the field. Space assets are no longer immune from conflict.

We are also starting to ramp up with the program for CyberSat 2026. We already have two keynotes confirmed – Deneen DeFiore, CISO of United Airlines and Ken Munro, managing partner of Pen Test Partners. This is the first time a CISO from a major airline will keynote at CyberSat. The show will celebrate its 10-year anniversary this year, and we are going big and bold for the most ambitious CyberSat yet.
