Focus on Defense

In Partnership With:

In this week’s Focus on Defense we’re bringing you stories from both DSEI in London and World Space Business Week in Paris.

At DSEI, a NATO leader explained how the alliance is adopting a ‘Front Door’ to engage with Space Startups. The U.S. Space Force has a similar approach. NATO is looking for enhanced access to commercial space innovation and to embed commercial services directly into NATO operations

And last week at WSBW, we heard from top satellite operators about surging government demand for satcom. Telesat CEO Dan Goldberg said he underestimated how large government demand would be for Lightspeed, and said he thinks Lightspeed could play a role in IRIS² for Europe as well.

If you’re enjoying this bi-weekly Focus on Defense newsletter, please forward it to your colleagues. Did someone forward it to you? Sign up here.
