Globecast Australia Launches Chinese TV Channels

[Via Satellite 02-24-2014] Globecast Australia will launch CNC Chinese and CNC World channels on its Direct-to-Home (DTH) Optus 2 platform on Saturday. These Mandarin and English CNC channels will offer current international and Chinese news to Australian viewers via Xinhua News Agency’s more than 200 global news reporting centers.
Globecast Australia carries almost 60 channels that cover Australia and New Zealand, and its Optus 2 platform is the country’s premium foreign language and religious broadcasting bouquet.
“We are one of the two state-owned TV stations of China and we bring objective and up to date news around the clock to over 70 major cities around the world 24/7,” said Zou Chen Dong, CEO of CNC Holdings Limited.
