Indonusa Chooses Harmonic For Satellite Pay TV Service

[09/05/07 – Satellite Today] PT Indonusa Telemedia has implemented Harmonic‘s technology into its direct-to-home satellite service in Indonesia, the company announced Sept. 4.
Indonusa Telemedia is using Harmonic’s DiviCom Electra 1000 multi-channel MPEG-2 standard definition encoders, as well as the ProStream 1000 stream processing platform with ProCipher scrambling technology used for both multiplexing and encryption, and the NMX Digital Service Manager for end-to-end monitoring and control of the video service. Indonusa is a subsidiary company of Telkom Indonesia Group. The company has a goal of reaching 120,000 subscribers by the end of 2007 and one million subscribers by 2010.
