Audiovox Introduces portable XM Satellite Radio, GPS units

Audiovox Corp. unveiled its first portable XM Satellite Radio product. The X2G100B Portable Satellite Radio and MP3 Player allows the user to listen to live XM broadcasts and offers up to 50 hours of store-and-play music. The unit retails for $249.99; Audiovox also offers a car kit and a separate home kit.
    Audiovox also is making its first foray with GPS portable navigation units, offering three new models under the Jensen brand — the NVXM1000, the NVX406, and the NVX227. The 1000 and 406 also are compatible with Audiovox’s XM Mini-Tuner, allowing them to receive XM’s radio broadcasts.
