      Arabsat, My-HD Media Announce Strategic Partnership Agreement During CABSAT 2013

      My-HD Media, a Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region television platform that offers a single viewing card solution for High Definition (HD) channels, has announced a long-term strategic partnership with Arabsat. Under the terms of the agreement, Arabsat will expand the reach of My-HD Media’s bouquet of channels to more than 170 million viewers in more than 80 countries across the MENA region and beyond.

      Talia, Arabsat Announce Broadcast Playout Services

      Talia, a data communications, network, and satellite solutions provider, has announced the start of broadcast playout services using Arabsat satellite capacity.

      Located at 26 degrees east, the Arabsat broadcast hotspot offers more than 600 channels of satellite television and radio stations. According to Talia, these services will allow channels to cover the Middle East, North Africa, and Europe all on one broadcast, helping them maximize exposure while minimizing expense.

      Broadcasting with Arabsat marks the expansion of Talia’s Media Division into broadcast services. The company now offers contribution links, teleport services, satellite broadcast playout, as well as IPTV solutions. The partnership is the latest addition to Arabsat’s expanding list of Media Access Points.
