Hughes Network Systems has released new HX broadband satellite routers — the HX260 Mesh and the HX200, the company announced.
Featuring an integrated, multi-channel TDMA demodulator, the HX200 supports connection to a variety of radios, including L-Band BUCs, and can be configured to support advanced features offered by the HX System, including mobility support.
The unit is compliant with the DVB-S2 standard with ACM, these new router platforms enable operators to rapidly configure both star and mesh networking topologies to provide cost-efficient, combined mesh voice and data services, including on-the-move mobility applications.
