OmniGlobe Signs Reseller Deal With C-Com

[Satellite Today – 6-19-08] OmniGlobe Networks EMEA, a supplier of communications equipment for satellite and terrestrial transmissions, has signed a long-term reseller agreement with C-Com Satellite Systems, Inc. to become an authorised reseller of its iNetVu mobile satellite antennas, the company said June 18.
    OmniGlobe Networks will offer the iNetvu antenna systems with customised configurations tailored to the specific needs of its client base. The mobile antenna system is fully compatible with satellite-based IP technologies and mounts easily on top of vehicles. It automatically connects to the Internet at broadband speeds, anywhere in the world.
    David Harper, managing director and head of the international satellite communications division at OmniGlobe, commented, “The iNetVu mobile communication system has many engaging features and we are excited to be in a position to distribute it to our selected clients. We are already talking to customers in the Middle East, North Africa and Western Africa. The terminal both strengthens and compliments our strategy, which is to support technically advanced products here in Europe for the benefit of our local customers and remote suppliers.”
