SkyTerra Communications Further Extends Expiration Date For Offer To Issue Its Options

      [Satellite Today – 5-30-08] SkyTerra Communications Inc. has further extended the expiration date for its previously announced offer (The Offer) to issue options to purchase shares of common stock of SkyTerra, in replacement of and upon termination of options to purchase limited partnership units of Mobile Satellite Ventures L.P. (MSV), SkyTerra announced May 30. The Offer is being made pursuant to an amended prospectus dated May 15 and related supplemental materials, which more fully set forth the terms of this Offer.
          The Offer had been scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City Time, on Thursday, May 29, and SkyTerra has extended it to 5:00 p.m., New York City Time, on June 5, although it could still be further extended beyond this point. As of 4:00 p.m. New York City Time on May 29, options to purchase 4,564,500 limited partnership units of MSV had been tendered for exchange.
