Record Additions Fuel Revenue Growth For Sirius

      [Satellite Today – 2-26-08] Sirius Satellite Radio added 4.2 million gross subscribers in 2007, the highest number of additions in satellite radio history, the company said Feb. 26 in announcing its fourth quarter and 2007 results.
          Total revenue for 2007 increased to $922.1 million, up 45 percent from 2006 total revenue of $637.2 million. Fourth quarter 2007 total revenue increased 29 percent to $249.8 million from fourth quarter 2006 revenue of $193.4 million.
          Despite the gains, Sirius reported a net loss of $563 million for 2007, but that was an improvement over a loss of $1.1 billion in 2006. The 2007 fourth quarter loss was $166.2 million, compared to a loss of $254.6 million in the 2006 fourth quarter.
