Boeing Reports Increase In Profits, Revenues

[10-24-07 – Satellite Today] The Boeing Company increased revenues from its Network and Space Systems division by six percent from third quarter 2006, the company announced Oct. 24.

Boeing earned $3 billion in revenues for the quarter ending Aug. 30, compared to $2.8 billion in the third quarter of last year. Boeing says the revenues are up due to increased volume on missile defense and several satellite programs.

In general, the company reported profits of  $1.1 billion, up 61 percent from last year’s profits of  $694 million.
