Intelsat Names Business Development Directors

[09-21-07 – Satellite Today]  Intelsat Ltd. promoted Edward Berger to lead its business development organization, the company announced Sept. 19. Berger has more than 15 years of experience in the telecom and satellite sectors and has been at Intelsat for 18 months.

Intelsat also promoted Veronica Pastor from the legal department to director, business development in Europe and the Middle East.

Stephen Tom, former executive director of the Pacific Telecommunications Council has joined Intelsat as director of business development in Asia –Pacific and Africa.

Chris Russell has been named vice president for financial reporting in the finance and accounting department. Russell has 11 years of public accounting and auditing experience and joins Intelsat from Ernst & Young.
