By JJ McCoy | July 18, 2007

C-Com Satellite Systems Inc. will supply its iNetVu Mobile antenna systems to China’s government agency responsible for disaster management, the company announced July 17.

The transportable systems will be installed on vehicles and deployed across China for emergency response and disaster management.

"The iNetVu antenna systems will make it possible for disaster management teams to communicate with each other in case of a disaster or during major emergencies, Leslie Klein, C-Com’s president and CEO, said in a statement. “iNetVu Mobile systems are already in use with a number of Chinese government departments and we see many vertical market opportunities for our products there."

Details of the contract were not released.
