Rockwell Collins To Provide GPS Receivers For Army Program

      The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command awarded a contract to Rockwell Collins to supply GPS receivers for the Ground-Based GPS Receiver Application Module program, the company announced June 28.

      The contract has a five-year base contract and an additional five-year option and could be valued at up to $300 million. The government has placed an initial $14 million order for units, Rockwell Collins said.
