Gen. Chilton To Become Commander of Air Force Space Command

Gen. Kevin Chilton will become commander of Air Force Space Command during an assumption of command ceremony at Peterson Air Force Base parade grounds at 10:30 a.m. June 26.
Gen. T. Michael Moseley, Air Force chief of staff, will officiate at the ceremony.
Chilton last month was confirmed by the Senate for appointment to the grade of general with assignment to his new post.
