Satellite Deals Of The Day

      • Primaris Airlines is outfitting its fleet of all-first-class aircraft with Iridium satellite phones, which are being supplied by Blue Sky Network. The first installation happened in April on a Boeing [BA] 757 that operates under charter for special- assignment press corps. Primaris will install Iridium phones in two more planes by the end of the year and in five more by the middle of next year. Financial terms of the installation were not disclosed.
      • Connexion By Boeing inked a deal with NTT Communications under which existing NTT hot-spot customers will be able to access Connexion By Boeing’s in-flight Internet service using their NTT hot-spot credentials. Neither specific terms of the deal nor specific pricing to NTT customers was disclosed.
