Sirius, Target Dogs Team For Holiday Promotion

Sirius Satellite Radio [SIRI] will broaden its reach with a new promotion offering the Xact XTR1 “Stream Jockey” palm-sized receiver at more than 500 Target retail stores nationwide. The receiver, which comes with a universal kit for the car or home, will be priced at $149. Target also will be selling a boom box designed to work with the XTR1, and the retailer will be offering a $25 gift card with each purchase.
In other Sirius news, the company said its receivers will be available as a factory-installed option in nearly all Mercedes-Benz‘s model year 2005 automobiles for $699, which includes 14 months of service.
