XM Plans College Basketball Programming

      Washington, D.C.-based XM Satellite Radio, the largest U.S. satellite TV services provider with more than 2.5 million subscribers, will launch its college basketball programming starting Nov. 15.

      XM, the official satellite radio network of the Atlantic Coast, Big Ten and Pacific-10 conference collegiate basketball programs, will carry hundreds of men’s and women’s college basketball games from the beginning of the regular season through the conference tournaments in early March 2005. In addition to college basketball, XM carries college football games for the three elite conferences.
