- MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. signed two more Radarsat-2 pre-launch purchase commitments totaling $3.42 million with the government of Finland and ImageOne Co. Ltd. of Japan. Radarsat-2 will provide satellite imagery. An expected launch date of the satellite was not immediately available, though the satellite bus did undergo successful functional testing earlier this year.
