DirecTV Adds Ecuavisa To Channel Lineup

Ecuavisa Internacional, reportedly the top-ranked television station in Ecuador, has been added to the “DirecTV Para Todos” Spanish-language-programming platform offered by direct-to-home satellite-TV provider DirecTV Inc. [DTV]. DirecTV signed an agreement to be the exclusive broadcaster of Ecuavisa for the next three years.

Having exclusive agreements like this one is the cornerstone for differentiating DirecTV from its Dish Network competitor in the marketplace, the carrier said.
