Dish Expands Into Three New Local Markets

EchoStar Communications [DISH] cut over local programming in three more markets: Quincy, Ill.-Hannibal, Mo.-Keokuk, Iowa; Albany, Ga; and Monroe, La.- El Dorado, Ark.

In Quincy, Ill., Dish Network direct-to-home broadcast satellite service subscribers now will be able to receive the local affiliates of CBS, Fox, NBC and PBS. In Albany, subscribers will see local affiliates of NBC, Fox and PBS as well as Atlanta’s ABC and CBS local channels, where available. In Monroe and El Dorado, subscribers will receive local affiliate broadcasts of ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, UPN and PBS.
