BT Taps Intelsat For Satellite Broadband Service

Intelsat officials today said BT Broadcast Services launched its satellite broadband service using the Intelsat system. The service is targeted to small and medium businesses as well as small office/home office users in the United Kingdom. Intelsat added BT is considering expanding its service offering to Western Europe and to other locations. Financial details of the agreement between BT and Intelsat were not disclosed.
