com hem CEO Confident It Can Squeeze Satellite Rivals

      Swedish cable operator com hem aims to put the pressure on its satellite pay-TV rivals Viasat and Canal Digital in Sweden. The operator will launch a VoIP telephony service in September to go alongside its digital television and Internet services and believes this bundle will prove attractive to consumers. com hem CEO Gunnar Asp told Satellite Today, “We have at least two very big advantages. Firstly, we have a very broad number of TV channels and services. We are the only one having 90 channels and PPV. At the same time, we are the only operator in Sweden that has the triple play.”
