AMC-11 Launch Expected To Go Off Without A Hitch

      CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla.–The launch of SES Americom’s AMC-11 C-band satellite has a “90 percent chance” of happing later this evening as scheduled, an official from International Launch Services told Satellite Today this morning. The launch window opens up at 5:52 p.m. EDT and will remain open for nearly three hours. The satellite, built by Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems Co. [LMT], will be delivered into orbit on an Atlas IIAS rocket.
