Dish Network Adds Local Channels In New York, Wisconsin

EchoStar Communications Corp. [DISH] will offer local channels to subscribers in Syracuse, N.Y., and in La Crosse-Eau Claire, Wis. In Syracuse and its surrounding areas, subscribers to Dish Network’s direct-to-home satellite service will be able to receive the local affiliates of ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, the WB and PBS. Subscribers in La Crosse-Eau Claire and the surrounding areas will be able to receive local ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and PBS affiliates.
