MDA Awarded RADARSAT-2 Contract In Venezuela

British Columbia based-MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates [MDA] was awarded a contract for a RADARSAT-2 ground station for the Instituto Geografico de Venezuela Simon Bolivar (IGVSB). The ground station will provide end-to-end capabilities for planning, receiving, archiving, processing and distributing data from RADARSAT-2 and other satellites. The IGVSB is within the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources of Venezuela.
