Dish Network Adds Local Channels To Line-up

EchoStar Communications Corp. [DISH] officials said today that the company’s Dish Network would offer local channels to its subscribers in the Rochester, N.Y., area, including the local affiliates of ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX, as well as PBS. EchoStar officials said Dish is the first satellite provider to offer local channels in the Rochester area.

Separately, EchoStar officials said that it recently added GEO TV, ARY Digital and ARY One World to its Urdu-language programming schedule.
