Sirius Announces Factory-Installed Availability

Officials at New York-based Sirius Satellite Radio [SIRI] said today that the company’s radio receivers will be available as a factory-installed option and a dealer-installed accessory on the BMW 2004 7 Series sedans. Buyers will receive a one-year, pre-paid subscription plus two free months and free activation to Sirius’ service when they purchase the factory-installed radio for $595.
Sirius officials also said today that its receivers will be available as a factory-installed option in 11 vehicle lines for the 2005 model year of Chrysler Group’s Chrysler, Jeep (including all five Grand Cherokee models) and Dodge vehicles.
