Irdeto Wins Second Key Deal In A Week

Irdeto Access has won its second key contract in the last week by signing a deal to partner with innovative HD (High-Definition) operator, Euro1080. Euro1080’s aim is to bring high-quality HDTV content to the European consumer.
The Euro 1080 channel officially was launched on Jan. 1 this year. The broadcasts of Euro 1080 currently are free, over-the-air signals but will be encrypted starting May 1, using Irdeto Access content protection technology.
