National Geographic Names Africa Regional Director

National Geographic Channels International promoted Errol Pretorius to regional director for Africa. Pretorius previously had been responsible for ad sales and sponsorship across local markets in the U.K., Europe and Africa.

National Geographic Channel Managing Director George Jeffrey said, “Africa is the one remaining area of our business that does not currently benefit from having a dedicated manager. We need someone who can take responsibility for all aspects of our operations and focus on unlocking the potential value to us and our shareholders.”
