Space Imaging, Anchor Point Join Forces

Space Imaging, a Denver, Colo.-based provider of satellite imagery, is teaming up with Boulder, Colo.-based Anchor Point to offer a risk assessment program for communities concerned with preparing for wild fires.
“With the increase in devastating fires during the past three seasons, there’s been an increasing emphasis on conducting hazard assessments and developing fire mitigation plans at the community level,” said Chris White, Anchor Point’s CEO. Combining remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS) technologies and fire suppression expertise offers communities comprehensive fire planning services.
