A new report from IMS Research estimates the sales of iDTVs (integrated digital televisions) will start to increase significantly from 2005 onwards. IMS predicts there will be more than 115 million units globally in 2015. Most will include a digital tuner.

The report also states only 1.5 million iDTVs were sold in 2003, with the majority going for satellite reception in Japan and digital terrestrial reception in the U.K., Finland, the United States and Spain.
