General Dynamics Gets $6.7 Million Delivery Order From U.S. Army

      General Dynamics C4 Systems (GDC4) received a $6.7 million order for a baseband node (BBN) large extension node (LEN) configuration and a BBN-LEN configuration from the Fort Monmouth, N.J.-based U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command.

      The baseband node is a dynamic and rapidly deployable early-entry communications system that provides warfighters with voice, video and data communications via commercial and military satellite systems. The order is part of a $47.5 million, firm-fixed price contract between the U.S. Army and GDC4. GDC4 is a business unit of General Dynamics [GD].
