Nera Hopeful About Broadband

Nera expects broadband revenues to show steady progress during the next couple of years. The company recently signed a deal with Telenor Satellite Broadcasting for the delivery of a broadband satellite gateway, the Nera Satlink Hub.
“We expect 2004 to be an important year to take positions where broadband services will be rolled out in 2005-2006,” Terje Ask-Henriksen, president of Nera Satcom, told Satellite Today. “We expect a certain growth in 2004, but a more stable growth market in 2005-2006.”
