Showtime Unveils ‘Movietime’ Channel

      Showtime, the biggest satellite pay-TV operator in the Middle East, announced it would begin carrying a new movie channel in early March. The channel, called “Movietime,” boosts to 17 the number of Showtime film channels available in that market. Showtime subscribers to the “Movies Plus” and “Total Plus” programming packages will receive the channel for no additional charge.

      Peter Einstein, Showtime’s president and CEO, said the 17 channels of movies air 24/7, providing more than 1,400 new film titles every year at an average of four new movies each day.
