SiRFstarIII Runs fast on GPS for LBS Users

      SiRF Technology Holdings, a San Jose, Calif.-based supplier of GPS semiconductor and software solutions, announced that its SiRFstarIII architecture would increase GPS performance significantly for location based services (LBS).

      The SiRFstarIII architecture is designed to meet the rigorous standards of wireless and handheld LBS both indoors and outdoors, via 2G, 2.5G, and 3G asynchronous networks, company officials said.
