Radyne Secures $1.2M China Satellite Modem Contract

      Phoenix-based Radyne ComStream [Nasdaq: RADN] has won a $1.2 million contract to supply its DMD 20 satellite modem to an unidentified Chinese company. Delivery will be completed this year.

      “This is the largest contract to date for Radyne ComStream’s DMD20 new modem system in China,” said CEO Bob Fitting. “This is the fourth modem contract awarded to us by this customer’s end user and I believe it shows the large potential for future business with our latest product. We are well positioned with our DMD20 to address the growing Asian satellite markets,” he added.
