EchoStar Redeems $1 Billion In Subordinated Notes

EchoStar Communications [Nasdaq: DISH] said that effective Oct. 20, 2003, it completed the previously announced redemption of $1 billion principal amount of its 4 7/8 percent convertible subordinated notes due in 2007.
