SBCA’s Retailer Rally Wins Good Reviews

Satellite dish dealers visited Congress this week to urge support for market fairness as part of a first-of-its-kind “Retailer Rally,” organized by the Satellite Broadcasting and Communications Association. The SBCA created the event to help counter the well-financed lobbying efforts of rival trade groups in the cable and broadcasting industries, said SBCA President Andy Wright.

Wright is stepping down as SBCA president today. He leaves the post on a high note as retailers in attendance raved about their chance to defend their industry before lawmakers and their aides.
