EBU, New Skies Reach Agreement

New Skies Satellites [NYSE: NSK], a Netherlands-based satellite services provider, has signed an agreement with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to provide full-time satellite capacity and special events transmission services for live coverage that would include the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Other events would include the UEFA Euro 2004 Cup, as well as the U.S. presidential elections. EBU has co-located digital transmission equipment in New Skies facility located near Washington D.C.
