Cable TV’s Western Show Heads For Last Round-up

      The 36-year tradition of the cable TV industry offering its Western Show will come to a close this year when the final conference takes place in December. The Western Show has been a key place for groundbreaking announcements of new cable programming services and technologies. It was the setting where operators first heard about digital technology, where cable modems and IP telephony over cable were first demonstrated, and where path-setting services such as CNN were first sold to cable operators.
