Globecomm Adds $4.7M In Infrastructure Contracts

      Globecomm Systems [Nasdaq: GCOM], a provider of satellite-based communications solutions, has been awarded two satellite infrastructure contracts from existing customers valued at more than $4.7 million.

      Under the terms of the first contract, Hauppauge, N.Y.-based Globecomm will provide a customer with a turn-key Intelsat earth station. The second contract is an expansion of existing infrastructure. Under the terms of this contract, Globecomm will provide the customer with a 7.2-meter (24-foot) earth station terminal and related equipment. The company anticipates completion of these projects during the current fiscal year ending June 30, 2004.
