MSV To Unveil Vision for ATC Deployment in North America

Mobile Satellite Ventures (MSV) plans to unveil its vision of the controversial deployment of ATC (ancillary terrestrial component) services in North America during the First International Conference on Advanced Satellite Mobile Systems (ASMS) taking place in Rome this week.
In January, the Federal Communications Commission endorsed mobile satellite use of the 2 GHz band to offer ATC services, despite the opposition of the U.S. cellular phone industry.
