Globecomm Awarded $5.3 Million In Satellite Infrastructure Contracts

Hauppauge, N.Y.-based Globecomm Systems Inc. [GCOM], a provider of end-to-end satellite communications services, won two satellite equipment infrastructure contracts valued at $5.3 million.
The first contract, obtained from an unidentified customer in Southeast Asia, calls for equipment to be installed at the customer’s planned satellite control facility. The second contract will provide an unidentified telecom provider in the United Kingdom with Internet infrastructure equipment.
