NetSat Express Signs Full-Service Contract With Nigerian ISP

      NetSat Express Inc., a provider of Internet connectivity services by satellite and a majority-owned subsidiary of Globecomm Systems Inc. [GCOM], announced the signing of a three-year contract with Microtec, an Nigerian ISP.

      In addition to basic Internet connectivity, NetSat will provide Microtec with its Impact ISP service package, which includes billing, authentication and reporting tools to enable Microtec to run its business as it provides, e-mail, Web hosting and domain name registration services to customers throughout Africa.

      “We believe Impact ISP is a first-of-its-kind, complete hardware, service and software package for ISP start-ups,” said Marni Ehrlich, CEO of NetSat Express. “Impact ISP is a powerful package that enables ISPs like Microtec to quickly, easily and cost effectively start an Internet services company with all the infrastructure and service support necessary.”
