SES and Satcom Global Sign Agreement for Global Ku-Band Network

SES and Satcom Global, provider of global satellite communications services to the maritime and land sectors, have signed a strategic partnership. The agreement provides Satcom Global with access to SES’ current and upcoming satellite fleet. SES will also provide ground network infrastructure, enabling multi-satellite access and service integration solutions.
SES’ mobility solution will form a crucial part of Satcom Global’s new Ku-band VSAT service, Aura, providing high-speed connectivity to hundreds of maritime, offshore and land customers. SES will provide Satcom Global with an open and scalable VSAT platform to deliver customizable, always-on broadband connectivity, according to the company.
